Wikipedia — Wards and electoral divisions of Nepal

OpenStreetMap-derived locality database
The locality list used for search is derived from OpenStreetMap data and is made available under the Open Database License 1.0: download osm-localities.json (fields: OSM id, name, Nepali name, place type, latitude, longitude, palika, ward).
Known limitations
- Ward boundaries cover 282 palikas in 32 of 77 districts and reflect the 2017 ward map; ward numbers assigned to localities are derived from these boundaries.
- Ward outlines were converted without a datum shift and can be offset by roughly 200 m.
- Many inner-city toles are not in the OpenStreetMap settlements extract and are curated by hand.
- Bikram Sambat dates from BS 2084 onwards are provisional until the official calendar is published.
